Minakami town is located in the northern part of Gunma Prefecuture in the Kanto Region. It is at the foot of the Tanigawa Mountain Range (Tanigawadake), Mt.Mikuni and also the basin of the Tone River. Minakami town is known for its scenic beauty, onsen (hot spring) and wildlife. And there are many local customs. We would like to introduce you to the various customs of this area. Folk tales from Minakami town have been handed down over many years.
